As the old adage goes, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, well so does TheSplashpaw Foundation community, only this time its all about the kids. This year we continue our community outreach and support by inviting YOUR little ones ages 12 and under to contribute to the cause, I mean Paws, and help raise money for our organization. Here’s how it works, first, follow this awesome little link and register your family as a participant. Then head over to your local grocery store and get two ingredients, sugar/artificial sweetener and lemons. That’s it. Combine the first two with water from your tap and voila! You’ve got lemonade. Now here’s the hard part. You’ve got to get that nectar into a pitcher and outside to your customers before you drink it all yourself! Setup a table and chairs on the sidewalk and watch those thirsty Southerners start dropping in like yellowjackets to a potluck. All of that cash raised will benefit Splashpaw and give you and your cuties the best feeling knowing that your actions and generosity not only kept Concordians hydrated, but benefitted the pets and children less fortunate than us.
